A lot has happened in the Nigerian creative and entertainment space this year 2022. Plenty highs and lows, lots of surprises and advancements.
In light of the above, I'm looking forward to Josh Ghani's annual review of the happenings within the entertainment sector. The objectivity and rationality of such a review is what I seek to scrutinize and grade. Out of fairness and with the backing of statistics both locally and international, Josh should never attempt to deny or ignore the consistency of these two power houses of a label, that is YBNL and MAVIN. 80% of the acts in these labels have attained and achieved remarkable feat globally as e dey RUSH one cannot afford not to pray that PEACE BE ON YOU as PERU dey claim BIG ENERGY.
Similarly, no matter where you stand you can't also ignore The stability of Wizkid ,Burna Boy and to a slim extent Davido. The strings and Cords of BAD TO ME And the heavy instrumental of LAST LAST hypnotizes and won't allow josh to sweep them under the carpet.
Back home, I must admit I've lost touch with everything musical due to a new found interest in politics but I will admit that its always about LOST FILES in Bauchi, when BOC Madaki gets out we seem not to find these files with ease as Kammill made us believe, but hey its Kammill Baby we go download am. Also, Josh should afford to congratulate Blaqdee Doka on His HAUSA MANDELA project as Gombe has finally achieve some bragging rights in order of those Maffians in arewa or Malo boys in Kheengs. Shout out to my brother ATVAN of Bauchi, no one is more wizkid FC than he is.
Well for the other side that refuse to agree on who should represent Bauchi at the LIGHT UP Bauchi crusade, growth shall continue to be in the shadow of Solomon Lange or Friday Jibbo. We are blessed with Grace Yunusa ,Mr Yels, Rokgat Kassem and Min Joy Charles, they are big and should be be made so. But we rather ignore our prophets for those hyped by their own.
As for the comics, bruh una dey funny as usual. I mean that with all sincerity & objectivity. Onesimus,Mc Jowi, Mc Yes, Mc Fine Boy,Mc Boti and Super star Last Done have delivered beyond an average point. But we need an event to calm down after a hectic harvest season and different episodes of fighting Fulani Herdsmen at Zul. Thank You.
